At mind&Mmatter agency, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Artplanet, an innovative online service functioning as a virtual art gallery, connecting artists from around the world with art lovers. Our partnership focused on developing a compelling brand strategy and visual identity that would emphasize the artists and revolutionize the art industry through technological advancements. Artplanet's vision was to break free from the limitations of the traditional art industry, which was dominated by a select few who controlled access to art and commanded premium prices. With the belief that art is a gift meant to be shared by all, Artplanet sought to democratize the world of art through technology. To craft a powerful brand strategy, we worked closely with the Artplanet team to define their mission and values. The core values of Connection, Creativity, Commitment, Confidence, Care, and Change became the guiding principles behind Artplanet's platform and company culture. These values were integrated into every aspect of the brand experience, from the user interface to the messaging and interactions within the online gallery. In developing the visual identity for Artplanet, we created a distinctive logo that captured the essence of their mission. The logo conveyed the interconnectedness of art lovers and artists, symbolizing the platform's commitment to fostering connection and championing creativity. Additionally, we designed a comprehensive visual system that reflected the vibrant and diverse world of art, ensuring a visually captivating experience for users across all channels. Central to the Artplanet experience were the social features that allowed users to engage with artists and express their admiration for specific artworks. By implementing features such as liking, following, and sharing, Artplanet empowered users to build relationships with artists and curate their own personalized art collections. Furthermore, Artplanet's e-commerce platform offered a unique proposition for art enthusiasts by providing high-quality metal posters of artworks that could be easily attached to walls using a magnetic mounting system. This innovative approach allowed customers to enjoy affordable and durable art replicas while directly supporting independent artists who received fair commissions. To enhance the user experience, we collaborated with Artplanet to develop an augmented reality app that allowed users to virtually place the metal posters on their walls, enabling them to visualize how the artwork would fit within their interior spaces. In alignment with Artplanet's commitment to care for the growth of others and the environment, we ensured that the production processes were environmentally conscious, minimizing waste and sourcing materials responsibly. Additionally, Artplanet's partnership with One Tree Planted resulted in the planting of trees with each product purchased, contributing to reforestation efforts. As part of Artplanet's future plans, they aim to expand their technology and improve the user experience through social features that allow users to influence the selection of artists showcased on the main page and category/collection pages. They also plan to leverage artificial intelligence to provide personalized recommendations based on user behavior, ensuring a tailored and engaging art exploration journey. Through our comprehensive brand strategy and visual identity development, mind&matter agency empowered Artplanet to disrupt the art industry, democratize access to art, and foster connections between artists and art enthusiasts worldwide. We are proud to have contributed to Artplanet's mission of transforming the artworld and making art a universally accessible and cherished experience for all.
